Breathing in and out is the best technique taught in Yoga to take a grip on to the most uncontrollable emotion of human – Anger. I know that anger makes you look ugly and I also do not want to be contorted with anger. Ok I know one need to embrace kindness to answer anger because we have been always taught about being Non Violent or you may call it ‘Ahimsavadi’.
Go back to your conscious breathing and detach yourself from looking and listening to the one who is the source of unhappiness and generates that fire of anger within you. Don’t say or listen to anything. Looking back, you will find that it is anger that is the root of all evils within you or around you and not the person.
Breathe and recite the first line looking at yourself in a mirror. You get your answer as to what to do and what not to do. We see the evil in the other person who tends to be the reason of our suffering and generally end up saying- ‘He is cruel and oppresses me’. But the truth is your anger that destroys us.
What happens when a house is burning?
We run and try to put out the fire rather than running from pillar to post in search of the person who may have started the fire. During inhalation we exactly see this happening going by the third line, and as we exhale, we end up saying that only embracing kindness helps us take care of our anger and the person who is the reason behind its creation.
HEAL YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS
So should I transform?
That a change must begin at a level where my consciousness or unconsciousness cannot reach due to the conditional effect it has always had. So what should I do to be free from the societal stigma?
Unless it is stable, whatever changes I will do will still be limited within that conditioned state and thus there would be no change at all.
So, is it that I should look without any motive?
Can I be survived with a mind without a motive in this life?
Motive is the outcome of a particular background or culture. To get your mind free from the stigma of this culture where you are born and brought up is actually too difficult to try. An individual can never be at peace, can never have freedom unless the mind is free from the culture. All Gods, myths, symbols and our endeavours are limited within that conditioned mind.
Within that limited field, in the deepest sense of the world whatever work or efforts you make or do not make turn out to be really futile. Remember whatever facilities you provide in a prison to get that VIP treatment to the guilty one- still a prison remains the same with a particular culture.
